Steps:
Firstly both bodies will be cooled to stop cells from dying, especially Valery's who's cells will be exposed to little oxygen during the operation. Next Valery's head will be removed from his spinal cord, his blood vessels hooked up to tubes to stop blood loss which is fatal. In order to fuse the head to the donor's spinal cord, polyethylene glycol will "flush" the spinal cord, making the fat in cell membranes go "mushy" so that the head can be connected. The last step to this operation (which is estimated to cost millions) is to stitch up the muscles and blood vessels.
The patient and his new body will then be in a coma for up to 4 weeks. During this time embedded electrodes will encourage the spinal cord to strengthen nerve connections. It is estimated to take a year until the patient can walk and move in his new body, and his voice is said to stay unchanged.
Many scientists are unsure about this operation, especially as survival is not promised, and is similar to that of "Frankenstein".

This will involve cutting the head off patient Valery Spiridonov (who has a rare muscle degenerative disease) and fusing it onto a decapitated donor body.
