As a lower sixth student studying higher level biology IB, I aim to do my best and get the best results. This means I have to work hard in and out of lessons.
My report from Mr Lovat says:
"Elinor has found the introduction to biochemistry challenging. Her exploration of the subject through her blog has good and I encourage her to maintain her inital commitment to the enterprise. Her test score of 53% was a little disappointing. I encourage Elinor to use the resources on www.lovat.weebly.com to consolidate the work we do in class - particularly before she is tested."
My report suggests that I should use resources to revise from such as www.lovat.weebly.com, which I should have done before my test back in September. I agree that my results weren't great, however they are incorrect in this report. I did infact get 60% in my test. I believe that almost another 10% raises my level quite a lot, but not enough to get a level 6 (which I would be overjoyed if I achieve).
The start of biology was difficult, but I am now gaining more confidence with the subject and hopefully will improve.
My targets are:

My targets are:
- to spend more time out of class to fully understand the topics, especially with help from the given resources.
- to contribute more in class.
- to make blogs on the experiments that have been carried out in class.
- to get better results in my tests, at least a level 5.
